SACHIN TENDULKAR AS RS MEMBER
Cricket Legend Sachin Tendulkar will take oath today as Rajya Sabha Member. He will take the oath today at 11 am in the chamber of Shri M.Hamid Ansari Vice-president of India. Sachin Tendulkar turned 39, got nomination by President in April 2012 only. Along with Sachin, actress Rekha and Social Worker Anu Aga already took their oath in the last session of RS.
Indian Cricket Captain Dhoni words about this "This (Rajya Sabha) is a new avenue for him and I am sure he will do well and contribute there also". "I would like to wish him all the very best. He has been contributing in cricket and has done well in every field," Dhoni added. Comment of chess champion Viswanathan Anand about this "I hope he (Tendulkar) enjoys his role and he is able to do it very well. It's a big step for him and I think he will enjoy it,".
